the alternative for both shampoo and dry shampoo

A quick mini-post, before running to the university..
For a while now, I’ve thought of posting one of my main hair-tips when I’m in a rush or just too lazy to wash my hair.
I actually thought everyone knew this, but the more I tell it to my friends, I discover they most haven’t heard of this before, so here goes,
Dry Shampoo is becoming a popular product lately, as I’ve seen it around more and more, and yes, it is very effective, the difference between the ‘before’ and ‘after’ is huge, so I highly recommend it, BUT my alternative itself is actually an alternative to the dry shampoo, and the secret is : flour!
Flour is highly effective, and I just take it on the tips of my fingers (first shake the extra flour off, not to have a white hat on your head) and then “rub” it on my roots, wherever necessary, as much as necessary and you are good to go, and for myself, as a blonde, I actually recently have the habit of doing it anyway, even on clean hair, because it creates a blonder look, and makes the hair appear slightly lighter and in my case, a nicer tone 
NB! Unfortunately I am not sure how it would work on brunettes, I know personally it works swell until a light-brownish shade, but darker tones I can’t guarantee good results, so..If any of you dark-haired-people ever try it, then let me know of the outcome!Half of my logic says that white-colored stuff on your roots should be a no-no, but then again dry shampoos work on brunettes just as well so…idk.

Oh and also, talc works just as well or even better from what I’ve heard, altho I’ve only use flour myself
And yes, the BKT post will still be coming up, somehow I have a lot of free time, but non of the free time somehow has enough time for me to do the things that I want, go figure. I’ll probably get a BKT(Brazilian Keratin Treatment) myself today or tomorrow and hope that then I will also make a more detailed post on it.

For starters, I am very-very embarrassed that I haven’t posted for such a long time, I promised myself it would only be the 10-days I was @ Cairo, but it has now magically become a much longer period of time..
here are some EASY cute hair tips I found online, which I intend to try out and which you might want to try out as well!
I think I’ll sum up my experience with BKT (Brazilian Keratin Treatment) soon enough, but for the time being..is there anything in particular you would like me to do a post on or..I should just continue to go with the flow (preferably with a more frequent flow:D)

I’ll do a quick post here in between my final exams, and…
Since at first I was very motivated to post everything on my mind, but from the number of my followers I mostly get a feeling it’s basically only me who is excited here and it’s just myself I’m writing to..BUT then I get some nice comments and requests for new posts from people I had no idea even knew of the existence of my blog,
I know not a lot of people use wordpress so it’s somewhat ‘inconvenient’ or so but..it’s not really all that weird, so here I thought for everyone’s happiness I will do a Giveaway, with the only rule being that you have to be a follower of my blog!
This is the item I will be giving away, it’s a Studio Cream Eyeshadow from ELF, new, in it’s package. The color is Pewter and it’s somewhat metallic, I have two colors myself which I haven’t really used yet but it seems to be a pretty awesome product.
